Mike Barrett has been in TV advertising sales since 1995. Before joining ITV, he worked at Sky and Viacom Brand Solutions, where he sold Viacom’s portfolio of channels including MTV & Nickelodeon.
ITV is the UK’s biggest commercial broadcaster and has outperformed the UK TV advertising market for the last 4 years, generating revenues of over £2bn a year. It is regarded as having the leading media sales team, twice winning Media Week Sales Team of The Year in the UK. Mike’s team works with agencies and clients to create stand out, reputational and successful advertising campaigns across a large portfolio with budgets in excess of £300m a year on ITV, and clients which include Diageo, Honda, Kellogg’s and Santander. Mike recently helped create and lead a unique partnership with the UK’s National Lottery and British Olympic Association: I Am Team GB, the nation’s biggest sports day, which culminated in an unprecedented 972,000 people actively participating on a single day.
Mike is also responsible for managing ITV’s relationship with RTL AdConnect, which is now in its seventh year.
