Dominique is Global Managing Director and Chief Client Officer for Havas Group where he oversees global client relationships, marketing initiatives and new business across both media and creative.
Previous to this, Dominique became Global MD of Havas Media Group in 2013 where he led a run of global account wins for the group such as Emirates, LG Electronics and The Walt Disney Company. He has also set up a number of initiatives that help the group and its clients respond to the rapid developments in technology, data, content and media.
Dominique is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Vivendi SA and in September 2015, he was named the President of Vivendi Content. In 2016 Dominique launched STUDIO+, the first global premium short series app. He assumes this role at Vivendi alongside his responsibilities at Havas.
Dominique is a member of The Facebook Client Council and has also been voted as one of the most influential media agency executives on twitter (@domdelport) having been named 2017 Influencer of the Year by Creativepool. In 2016 he was awarded 'Facebook Influencer' status by Facebook.
Former TV journalist and web entrepreneur, Dominique joined Havas Media in 2006 as General Manager France, promoted to CEO of Havas Media Group France a year later.
His initial association with Havas started when his TV, web and mobile company Streampower was purchased by Bolloré Group in 2001. Dominique won an Emmy Award for Best Interactive TV Show in 2007. He then helped to launch French TV channel Direct 8 (now D8 - part of Canal+) as well as hosting its weekly show about new media and technologies.
Before his venture with Streampower, Dominique spent 8 years as Editor-in-Chief for the second French National TV, M6 (RTL Group) specialising in breaking news and current affairs.
He lives in Paris with his wife and author Elizabeth Kesses. He has three children Antoine, Mathilde and Jeanne
