After 15 years as an editor and journalist, two years ago Carla switched to the world of trend forecasting, taking up the role of Global Chief Content Officer at business insight and trend forecasting company WGSN.
Before WGSN, Carla was the founding Editor-in-Chief of The Huffington Post UK, and an Editorial Director for the global brand. Carla also held roles at Marie Claire, Glamour and Vogue.com, as well as contributing to The Guardian, Metro and various other papers and magazines.
During her time at HuffPost, she was named Editor of the Year at the Online Media Awards two years running, and Media Innovator of the Year at the British Media Awards. Carla was also included in The Drum’s Top 50 Female Innovators in Digital Journalism. In 2015, Management Today included Carla in its annual 35 Under 35 list.
