Since assuming the Managing Director position of Certeo in 2009, Alex has developed the company to become an online brand of TAKKT AG in Europe. Certeo sells various sort of business equipment, ranging from office chairs to sack trucks in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland. In the last few years of its development, Certeo has transformed into its own independent digital business under the wings of TAKKT AG, its mother company whose portfolio covers B2B direct marketing specialists for business equipment with various companies and brands in 27 countries worldwide. Operating in attractive and fragmented markets, all TAKKT-owned portfolio companies and brands focus primarily on the sales of durable and price-stable business equipment which cater to the varying needs of different industries in different regions of the world.
From 1994 to 1996 in the publishing sector and from 1996 to 2009 in the tourism sector, Alex has been plugged in and actively participated in the early days of e-commerce, witnessing the development of its chances and all the risks that come along with digitalization. Starting from the technical perspective, he now focuses on sustainably growing a successful business model for Certeo.
