Beck Kloss is responsible for Global advertising and merchandising product across eBay’s marketplace properties worldwide. In this role he is accountable for overall vision, strategy and results delivery. He also serving as the GM of eBay’s office in New York City. Beck joined eBay to lead a team of product managers focused on the ground-up rebuild of search for the marketplace called project Cassini. Following the acquisition of a machine learning start-up Hunch, Beck transferred from San Jose to New York to reinvent eBay’s approach to personalization and recommender systems across the marketplace delivering the first user level personalization for the shopping experience. Prior to eBay Beck ran analytics, user experience research and site optimization for Deluxe corporation. Beck holds a Master’s of Science in Analytics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelors in Psychology from Appalachian State University.
