Since the beginning of 2014, Dr. Johannes Steegmann has been in the role of CMO at REWE Digital, responsible for the marketing of REWE's online food business and Rewe Group’s internal digital marketing agency which supports it's business units (REWE, Penny, Toom Baumarkt, Billa, etc) with an array of digital activities such as performance marketing, management of social media channels, UX/UI, digital design, digital customer relationship management, digital analytics, digital media buying and content marketing. In addition, Johannes leads the digital strategy team and drives REWE Group’s venture activities.

Previous roles included Head of Corporate Development & Consulting at REWE Group, a nine year period at McKinsey & Company and a career start at Bertelsmann AG.
